- Inventory, document, and evaluate artwork for recovery
- Remove, protect, and transport artwork from insured home or business
- Disassemble and evaluate artwork to be cleaned, serviced, and/or repaired
- Select and order frames and other replacement items as needed
- Clean, restore, and re-assemble artwork to pre-loss condition
- Deliver artwork to insured home or business
- Communicate with the insured to update the status of their artwork
- Communicate with ART Corporate Office for instruction and problem-solving
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts
- Painting background with an understanding of color matching
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills; providing "high touch" service to our clients.
- Exhibit a professional, clean appearance that represents the ART brand
- Comfortable on-site at damaged properties such as burned buildings and homes
- Ability to lift 50 pounds as part of artwork pick-up and delivery activity
- Working knowledge of basic PC operations
- Solid multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- General administration responsibilities such as ordering materials, answering client questions and calls, and estimating jobs using ART’s tracking system (training provided).
- Occasional circumstances requiring overtime work and travel
- Photoshop experience a plus
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Able to pass a pulmonary function test.
- Picture-framing experience a plus.
- Consistently report to work during scheduled times.
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings as requested.
- Be available for non-scheduled work requirements as needed.
- Cooperate with direct supervision and perform duties assigned by supervisors.
- Cooperate with other technicians and perform duties assigned.
- Inspect own work and ensure that it is complete, thorough, and meets ART quality standards and meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Report all injuries immediately. Injured workers requiring more than first aid treatment must immediately be seen by a physician or clinic specified by ART.
- Abide by all rules, regulations, and policies contained in the employee handbook, safety manual and employment agreement; including active participation
- in identifying, reporting, and correcting situations affecting safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Properly operate the ART vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and ART procedures.
- Use and maintain all provided materials, supplies, and equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended procedures.
- Document all job activity using the applicable systems in place.
- Keep job or customer files neat, organized, and secure and keep its contents confidential.
- Participate in ongoing training programs sponsored by the company and/or affiliated organizations.
